We are a global designer, manufacturer and distributor of sophisticated measurement instruments and automotive lighting systems. Our engineers design and invent innovative products that meet and exceed our customer’s specifications and expectations, such as the world's first miniature self powered LCD counter with a 10 year operating life. This product demonstrates Trumeter’s expertise in the areas of ultra low power circuitry, miniaturisation, component agglomeration, design elegance and well thought out functionality.

Operating in the UK since 1937 and in the USA in 1938, we have sales in more than 50 countries through a worldwide network of Sales Executives, Distributor Partners and strategically located warehouses.

In 2004 Trumeter established a new state of the art manufacturing facility in Penang, Malaysia. This wholly owned world class facility has nearly 150 experienced and skilled Trumeter staff producing the full range of Trumeter products to the highest quality standards. Our ability to cost effectively, reliably and repeatedly manufacture products to very tight tolerances and demanding specifications truly sets Trumeter apart from other companies in the market.

In January 2010, we secured new investment in the company to both accelerate our product development programs and purchase new equipment, both of which are critical to support our customers as we jointly develop new applications and grow together. This investment puts the company in a strong position financially as we embark on a period of significant growth.
